I woke up at 7am. Fixed my face and fixed a bag for the kiddos. Picked out the husband's clothes and was off. The drive is about an hour and the bride wanted us there at 1030. I met up with my other bestie {the bride's sister} and I followed her because I'm terrible at directions and I have serious traffic-phobia. All is good until we notice a cop... and notice we're doing 85 in a 65. She gets stopped and is issued a ticket. I felt sooo bad! We get there. Relax for a while. Go pick up the veil and dresses and then it's off to get our hair done. I told the chick exactly what I wanted - PICTURE AND ALL - and she still managed to eff it up. I was quite pissed.
We drive to the hotel where the bridesmaids immediately start drinking {to calm our nerves of course}. The bride is flipping out and was going bridezilla on our asses {but I probably would have too}. Make up is done and it's time to board the yacht. We carry our bottle of liquor on and of course we get into trouble - we chug it and then trash it.
We get the bride dressed and here come the endless supply of tears. She was simply gorgeous. So beautiful. I cried like an idiot. You would have thought she was my daughter or something.
Everyone boards the yacht {including my hubs who looked sexy as ever} and we sail off. 10 minutes later she's married... my best friend. Gone and done it. Finally married. I cried... and cried... and then some more. We went below. Had dinner, cake and the toast and it was off to the top deck to tear up the rug.
I'll stop there because the rest really is a blur.
